A walk in the forest
What is better than admiring the wonderful colours of Mother Nature during fall by walking in the forest? Many pedestrian trails enable you to wander through nature near the Hotel Monfort. For example, the natural reserve Boise-du-Seminaire enables starts right at the hotel. It will transport you through more than a century of history! Given to the Nicolet vicar in 1770, this part of land was handed over to the Seminary of Nicolet. The different trails were built starting in 1873. During your walk, you will pass lakes, cross bridges, see statues and even have the chance to see animals!
Apples, apples and more apples!
Few kilometers away from the hotel, the Nicolet Orchard welcomes you starting the third week of August until mid-October so that you can pick your own apples! This very popular activity amongst families and couples will enable you to reconnect with nature and forget your stressful routine. Its beautiful location will charm you right away. Picnic tables are available around a lake so that you can observe ducks and geese. Let yourself be tempted by a getaway in nature!
A day at the musem
Different interesting museums are located near the Hotel Montfort Nicolet. The Musee des religions du monde offers you to discover the five major religions of the world through their rituals.
